Bengtskär lighthouse

Bengtskär lighthouse is the tallest lighthouse in the whole of Finland, located on a small island off the coast of Hanko in the country's south. This picturesque lighthouse was built in 1906 and is mainly made out of red brick. It stands at 40 meters high with a living space on the top floor, which housed a keeper until 1963. Today, visitors can book a night in a small apartment, located within the lighthouse. It's a great spot for nature lovers and is known for its breathtaking bird-watching. The surrounding sea is also a great spot for fishing, and the replica of an old sailing boat that was wrecked can be seen nearby.
