Benazir View Point is an overlook at Gorakh Hill, a high plateau in the Kirthar Mountains of Sindh’s Dadu District. From the escarpment, the land falls away into layered, arid ridges and broad plains, creating a sense of scale rarely associated with lowland Sindh. The recognizable scene is defined by rugged rock, sparse vegetation and an open horizon; near sunrise or sunset, angled light emphasizes the folds of the mountains and shifts the terrain from ochre to muted violet. Gorakh Hill’s elevation also brings noticeably cooler conditions than the surrounding plains. The final approach is steep and rough, so visitors commonly use suitable high-clearance or four-wheel-drive transport.
