The Bell Tower of Megalochori in Greece is an imposing limestone structure which sits at the highest point of the whitewashed village. Built in 1843, it is considered one of the most important neoclassical monuments of the Cyclades Islands. The 20-meter tall building has a cylindrical form, and four large bells, one of which is inscribed with the date 1843. In its interior, visitors can admire the panoramic view of the village and the surrounding countryside. Though the monument has suffered several earthquakes and damages over the years, it still stands tall and is a great site to photograph.
