Belfast City Hall is a civic building in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It is located in Donegall Square, Belfast's main square, and is the symbolic heart of the city. The City Hall was designed by Sir Alfred Brumwell Thomas and opened in 1906. The grand building is constructed of Portland stone and still retains many of the original features and fittings, making it a stunning sight. Inside the City Hall is a breathtaking grand hall with numerous displays, sculptures and memorials that serve to commemorate Belfast's rich history. Other noteworthy attractions include the Lord Mayor's Parlour, the intricately decorated Banqueting Hall, the impressive Council Chamber and the Rotunda room which also houses a beautiful balcony. Guided tours throughout the City Hall are also available, offering visitors a glimpse into the grandeur of this iconic building.
