The Beffroi de la Chambre de Commerce towers over the center of Lille, France. The monument is a symbol of the city’s rich industrial history. Built between 1906 and 1912, the Beffroi was inspired by the Louis XIV style and completed with a carillon of 50 bells. On the top of the building there is an observation deck popular among visitors for its fantastic views over the city of Lille. The intricate facade, and the two staircases leading up to the bell-tower, certainly make this site a must-see in Lille.
