The Beffroi de la chambre de commerce is a stunning and impressive tower in Lille, France. Beffrois are historic municipal towers built in northern France, usually during the 14th and 15th centuries. The Beffroi de la chambre de commerce stands at 86 meters tall, making it one of the tallest Beffrois in the region. It was built between 1651 and 1653 as a guard house to watch over the Flemish city of Lille. The tower boasts Renaissance-style construction and features seven levels, including a carillon tower at the top. The tower is a popular tourist destination in Lille due to its unique history and impressive architecture. Visitors can take the elevator up to the top of the tower, where they can admire the stunning views of the city below.
