Beeld Adrianus VI, commonly known as the De Beeldenbron, is a bronze sculpture located in the City of Utrecht, Netherlands. It was created in honour of pope Adrian IV (pope from 1154-1159). The 8-metre high statue stands on a separate pedestal, depicting the pope in full regalia with the emblems of papal authority: the triple tiara, the keys of St. Peter and a papal cross. The sculpture was attended by 18 figures, among them Cardinals, Knights of Malta, more lay figures as well as a dog. De Beeldenbron is one of Utrecht's main landmarks and is a great place to visit for history buffs and photography fanatics.
