Fraser Island is a World Heritage-listed site located off the eastern coast of Australia in the state of Queensland. It's the world's largest sand island, and is home to rainforests, lakes, wetlands and dingos. The beach of Fraser Island is one of the most beautiful and unspoiled spots in the region, boasting miles of pristine white sand and crystal clear waters. The area is known for its diverse array of marine life, offering plenty of opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, and fishing. Aboriginal rock carvings and shell middens are found along the shoreline, and an array of wildlife, including whales, dolphins, sea turtles and dugongs, can be spotted in the area. Hiking and 4WD tours are available to explore the dense forests, freshwater lakes, and spectacular sand dunes that make up Fraser Island. Camping is also allowed along the beach.
