
The Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel or popularly known as 'Ta' Braxia', is a beautiful church located in the residential area of Tas-Sliema, Malta. Built in the 17th century, it is a Baroque style structure with an impressive grand facade incorporating two main towers with a bell on each side. Inside, the church is lined with bright white walls, marble columns, a vaulted ceiling and intricate artwork adorning the walls. At night, this impressive structure is illuminated, adding a majestic and ethereal quality - the perfect setting for a romantic spot. Visitors can explore its main entrance, however the main elements of the construction can only be viewed from the outside, making it ideal for photography lovers.
