Bateau fantôme (Ghost Boat) is a unique abandoned boat located in Noirmoutier-en-l'Île, France. The rusty old boat lies on the sand as if it has been there for centuries. A nearby sign reads the simple words, "Abandonné en Mer de 1987" (Abandoned to the sea in 1987). It is a rather remarkable sight to behold and a favorite among photographers. Interesting aspects of the boat include the intricate decorations that adorn its side, the variety of colors present on its hull and the general jumble of its details, all adding to its unique charm.
