Baszta Halszki is a medieval tower in the city of Szamotuły in Poland. Built in the 15th century, four-storeyed tower is one of the most recognizable monuments of Szamotuły. The tower is also known as Sułkowski Tower, because it used to be the family residence of Mikołaj Sułkowski, who commissioned the tower in 1480. The entrance to the tower is free, allowing visitors to admire and explore the inside, full of renovated wooden stairs, offering a view of the city and its picturesque landscape. Moreover, it is possible to climb and take pictures of Szamotuły from the tower’s terrace. The building currently houses a gallery, called the Stanisław Wyspiański Visual Arts Education Centre and hosts numerous art exhibitions.
