Bassin King-Edward is an urban park situated in Montreal's Hochelaga-Maisonneuve neighborhood. The area is dominated by a large pond surrounded by vegetated areas, a ball field, two playgrounds, and a water tree where visitors can enjoy beautiful water jets. The park offers a tranquil atmosphere and spectacular views of the Olympic Stadium and Mont Royal's summit. During winter, the pond changes into an amazing place to explore with cross-country skis. There is also a covered skating rink, tobogganing, and a special space designed for games and activities. Throughout the year, events are held in the park, such as free musical activities, workshops for adults and children, and community meetings. For visitors who would like to explore nature, the nearby Van Horne Park with its green spaces and walking trails is a must.
