The Basilica santi Bartolomeo e Gaetano is an exquisite 18th-century Baroque church located in the center of Bologna, Italy. It was made in the late 1700s by two renown architects, Francesco Fontana and Giuseppe Tubertini. The Basilica, which combines Neoclassical and Baroque styles, is respected as being one of the most majestic churches of Bologna. You'll find a symmetrical facade atop an impressive staircase that leads to its large main altar, full of amazing artwork including sculptures, paintings, and gilded columns.
