Basilica San Nicola is a stunning example of Puglian Romanesque architecture and stands in the heart of Bari's old town. Located on the Quay of San Nicola, overlooking the Adriatic Sea, the basilica is a testimony to the city's rich Christian heritage and a place of pilgrimage for both Catholics and Orthodox Christians.
