Basilica Papale di Santa Maria Maggiore is a 4th century Roman Catholic Church located in the historic city of Rome, Italy. It is one of the four major basilicas in Rome and is the largest church in the city dedicated to the Virgin Mary. It is home to many ornate works of art from the Renaissance and baroque periods.
