The Basilica of Our Lady in Beaune, France, is a beautiful building that stands out in the Burgundian landscape. Established in 1220, it is one of the oldest churches in Beaune, which is a World Heritage Site since 2015. The church was erected in a cross-shaped plan and is roofed with a high Gothic-style spire. Around the pinnacles, there is a dummy gallery. Inside the church, you will find a gorgeous stained-glass windows and impressive sculptures by local 15th century artisans. There's also the treasury that houses artifacts and artifacts related to the history of Burgundy. This includes a unique treasure called the "Gapore", a wooden statue of the Virgin Mary with a crown of seven stars. The basilica is a major tourist attraction and a great place to admire the ancient architecture and artwork of Beaune.
