The Basilica di Superga is a magnificent Baroque style basilica in Turin, Italy, that was built in 1731 as a symbol of celebration to end a plague. Located atop the hill of Superga and overlooking the city, the basilica was designed by Filippo Juvarra and is designed in a Neoclassical and Baroque architectural style. Inside the basilica, you can admire the beautiful paintings, sculptures, and the egg-shaped dome. Inside the complex, there is also a crypt where many members of the House of Savoy rest in peace. Superga has become an important symbol of Turin, and it is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Many tourists come here to enjoy the stunning views of the city, as well as the peaceful atmosphere.
