Basílica del Sacré Cœur and Square Louise Michel are popular attractions in Paris. The former is an iconic white basilica, perched atop Montmartre hill, making for an impressive skyline view. The sacristy is open to public and offers a chance to see the Maiano Altar, a sculpture from the 16th century. Adjacent to the basilica is the huge, glass-roofed courtyard, where people can enjoy French food, or simply appreciate the 19th century architecture. Square Louise Michel is a leafy park nearby and provides a great spot for a picnic. It is also a popular spot for stargazing and getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
