Located in Zaragoza, Spain, the Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar and Puente de Santiago is a highly significant religious and historical site. The Basilica is the most important Marian Shrine in Spain and home to the famous image of Our Lady of the Pillar, patroness of Aragón. It is also one of the oldest churches in Europe, and a key part of the spiritual heritage of Zaragoza. The Puente de Santiago bridges the Ebro River and is known for its prominent sculptures and its central location between the basilica and the Aljaferia Palace.
