Basel Minster (or Basler Münster) in Basel, Switzerland, is a beautiful and imposing Gothic and Romanesque-style cathedral that overlooks the city. It was founded in the year 1019 and dedicated to Bishop Burkhard. Its most impressive feature is its two towers, standing at around 81 meters each, which act as a beacon to visitors. Inside, the 12th century murals add to the captivating atmosphere while the stained glass windows are breathtakingly beautiful. The entry fee for the cathedral is small compared to the experiences that can be gained from its incredible entrance and interior. There are also regular concerts and cultural events held here.
