Barragem, near the town of Santa Maria de Jetibá, is an immense panorama of rock formations, blue sky, trees, and the Verde River. Here, travelers can enjoy a spectacular view of the river and the surrounding hills, as well as the famous Vale Verde waterfall. Visitors can take a boat tour, hike around, or just take some time to enjoy the breathtaking beauty and peaceful atmosphere of the area. There are some lovely short trails and lookouts, giving stunning views of the region. The Barragem is also a great place for bird watching, with a large variety of species living in its forests.
