The Barrage de Boumraou, located in Naciria, Algeria, is a dam which is known for its colourful landscape, perfect for a landscape photographer to take a perfect shot. The dam is 185 metres long, 8 metres wide and 26 metres high, with a large reservoir behind it. It is located near a number of impressive archaeological sites and prehistoric caves, where visitors can get a unique glimpse into life in the area thousands of years ago. Nearby, tourists can also explore the Djebel Bou Kheden nature reserve and its beautiful waterfalls, where daring climbers can scale the cliffs and admire the stunning views.
