Barco Abandonado is a serene and picturesque site located on the shoreline of the coastal town of Ensenada in Argentina. Carefully crafted and well preserved, this unusual specimen of man-made nature has been standing in lace with the elements since before the turn of the 20th century. For all its novelty and ruggedness, it is no longer used for navigation, but stands as a beacon and reminder of times long gone. The boat can be accessed on foot, as it sits directly in front of a parking lot, as well as a local restaurant where travelers can rest at the end of the journey. A great spot for some outstanding shots, it is especially beautiful during sunrises and sunsets. If you’re in the area, it is well worth the trip.
