Ballkoni i Vlorës, meaning “Vlora’s Balcony,” is an elevated viewpoint overlooking the city and the broad Bay of Vlora. From here, the dense urban fabric, port and long waterfront can be read against the blue sweep of the bay, with the Karaburun Peninsula shaping the distant horizon. The height gives photographs a strong sense of scale, especially when streets and buildings catch the low western light while the water remains luminous. It is a useful visual introduction to Vlora’s geography, where the coastal plain meets steep hills and Albania’s Adriatic and Ionian landscapes converge.
