The Baháʼí Gardens in Haifa are renowned for their stunning terraces and are considered a UNESCO World Heritage site. They ascend the northern slope of Mount Carmel, offering a spectacular view over Haifa's cityscape and the Mediterranean Sea. The gardens are designed to reflect the harmony and beauty central to the Baháʼí faith, with 19 meticulously maintained terraces. Visit early in the morning or late afternoon for the best lighting for photography. While tripods might be restricted, the symmetry of the garden provides fantastic opportunities for balanced shots. The garden features a striking golden-domed Shrine of the Báb, which is an important spiritual spot and an architectural highlight. Access is free, but dress modestly and be respectful of the site's spiritual significance.
