Bacha Coffee occupies an ornate salon within Dar el Bacha, a historic palace in Marrakesh’s medina that now houses the Museum of Confluences. The name recalls the title “pasha,” associated with the palace’s former role as an official residence. Its setting is as distinctive as its extensive coffee menu: geometric zellij, carved plaster, painted wood and a traditional courtyard frame polished brass pots, striped cups and vivid orange packaging. The layered patterns and warm, filtered light create images that connect contemporary café ritual with the refined decorative language of Moroccan palace architecture. Access is through Dar el Bacha, so museum admission and opening arrangements govern visits.
