Ayasuluk Citadel and İsa Bey Mosque are located in İsa Bey town in Turkey. The Citadel and Mosque are two of the most important monuments of Medieval Anatolia. The Citadel is the only surviving fortified castle of southwestern Turkey and the İsa Bey Mosque is the most important architectural monument of the region, built in the 14th century. From the fort, you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the rolling hills and picturesque villages below. Many of the architectural parts of the fort, as well as its cisterns, can still be seen today. The İsa Bey Mosque is particularly remarkable with its decorated masonry stone inscriptions, marble columns and arched alcoves. This historic site offers a great opportunity to explore the spectacular landscape and the rich cultural heritage of the area.
