Avenida Bulhão Pato runs through the center of Trafaria, a low-rise riverside town in Almada on the south bank of the Tagus, facing western Lisbon. It is named after Raimundo António de Bulhão Pato, the 19th-century Portuguese poet and memoirist who lived in the Caparica area.
