Athabasca Falls is a majestic waterfall located in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada. Located along the stunning North Saskatchewan River, the falls plummet almost 30 metres over several cascades. The noise of the falls is quite loud, and a nearby 550-metre boardwalk allows visitors to have a closer look. According to archeological evidence, the falls have been used for ceremonial and spiritual rites by the First Nations for thousands of years. Photographers will enjoy the various angles from which they can capture the falls and its beautiful surroundings. A popular spot for photography is "The Finger," an islet beneath the falls, which can be accessed for more picturesque views. It is easy to access the falls as there is a very well marked path and parking available close by.
