The AT&T Building, more famously known as the ‘Batman Building’ stands 256 feet tall overlooking downtown Nashville, Tennessee and is a must-see destination for visitors of the city. Completed in 1994, the building’s iconic pointed design is intended to echo the spire of the very nearby Union Station, and a massive Batman emblem is affixed to the northern face of the building's rooftop. Composed of 860,000 sq. feet, the building is currently occupied by the AT&T Corporation, both at the rooftop and in its basement data center. Visiting the building is not allowed, but there are plenty of places nearby to admire and photograph its bold architecture, namely the pedestrian bridge over Charlotte Avenue and the corner of 2nd Avenue and Commerce Street. Its powerful outline blends in nicely the picturesque landscape of the Music City and should not be missed!
