Arthur's Seat

Arthur's Seat is an imposing peak located near the city of Edinburgh, in Scotland. It stands at 251m high and is the remains of an extinct volcano that dates back to the Carboniferous period. Its peak can be reached by foot, via a network of excellent walking trails, and visitors can enjoy views of the city of Edinburgh and its surrounding region. There is also a local observatory located nearby, which makes a perfect accompaniment to the beautiful views. A hidden gem of the area is the Duddingston Loch, which lies at the foothills of Arthur's Seat and offers picturesque views of the lake, as well as a variety of wildfowl and other wildlife!
