Inside the monastery you can admire the magnificence of its paintings and sculptures, especially the frescoes of Maestro Guidoccio Cozzarelli which is considered to be one of the best Renaissance works of art in Tuscany. This includes a perfectly crafted and true to life depiction of St. Michael the Archangel and his dragons, which is breathtaking and unforgettable.

The frescoes were made for the monks of Monastero di Siloe centuries ago and are still here today, allowing visitors to take in the awe inspiring beauty of the religious artwork and masterpieces. Whilst exploring the Monastero di Siloe, you can also take a look around the Cathedral of San Michele Arcangelo which is a stunning example of Romanesque architecture from the 12th and 13th century.
