Located in the picturesque old town of Chania, Greece, the Arsenali Veneziani is a breathtaking one-of-a-kind complex made up of three interlinked seven floor towers with narrow alleyways, small gardens and paths and bridges that go in every direction. This historic site gets its unique name from the fact it was gifted to Venice’s commercial arm, the "venetian Arsenal", by the Venetian ruler, Marco Sanudo in 1212. Perfectly preserved through the centuries, the Arsenali Veneziani stands as a testament to its historic and cultural past. Atop the small hill the complex is situated on, the magnificent views of Chania Harbour offer awe-inspiring sights and make for wonderful photo opportunities. Visitors coming to Arsenali Veneziani will get to marvel at its beautiful Venetian, Muslim and Byzantine architecture and enjoy a fantastic setting of winding paths, gardens, tiny squares and stone pathways that will ensure a memorable sightseeing experience. Visitors can also look down on the Old Harbor with its red-tiled traditional Greek stone houses, the Venetian fortress and the lighthouse.
