Argentiere Glacier

Argentière Glacier is situated in Chamonix valley in the French Alps. It lies at an altitude of around 3,000 m above sea level, and is one of the longest glaciers in the Alps, stretching almost 5 km. It is regarded as one of the most beautiful glaciers in the European Alps, and a favorite with hikers, outdoor enthusiasts, and skiers alike.

This glacier is one of the most impressive accessed by the Mont Blanc cable car, giving travelers a unique and magnificent view of the mighty Valle Blanche and some of the highest peaks in the Alps.
