Antirio River Bridge is an engineering marvel in Rio, Greece. Connecting Achaea and Aetolia, this bridge offers remarkable views of the Gulf of Corinth and the Ionian Sea. This cable-stayed bridge boasts colossal concrete pylons and four main cables that support the structure, making it the second longest cable-stayed bridge in the world. Visitors can appreciate this impressive sight from the pedestrian footpath built along the side of the bridge, or from the shore. There are plenty of activities to partake in near the bridge, from swimming, sailing and fishing near the Rion and Antirion Gulfs, to exploring the ancient city of Iro and its famous castle.
