Anhalter Bahnhof
📍 Germany
Anhalter Bahnhof in Berlin, Germany, is considered to be a historical site and was once one of the city's busiest railway stations. The original building was constructed in 1840 and was the terminus for a railway line that connected the city with the south of Germany. During World War II, the building was heavily damaged and most of it was destroyed in 1945. The ruins were then preserved, and a memorial was constructed in its place. Today, Anhalter Bahnhof attracts photographers and visitors who are curious to explore the station's meaningful history. It is also a popular picnic spot and is connected to the Berlin Wall Memorial and Topography of Terror.
