📍 Ukraine
St. Andrew’s Church crowns the upper end of Andriyivskyy Descent, the steep street linking Kyiv’s Upper Town with historic Podil. Designed by Bartolomeo Rastrelli in the 18th century, the Baroque church stands out for its turquoise-and-white façade, gilded ornament and slender domes. Its hilltop setting makes it a landmark above the street’s rooftops, with views from the surrounding terrace across Podil toward the Dnipro.
