Altes Rathaus (Old Town Hall) in Munich, Germany is an impressive building located right in the center of the city. It was built in the 15th century and contains the famous Glockenspiel, a large clock in the shape of a rooster which chimes every hour. Inside, visitors will find the world-renowned Bavarian State Library as well as two murals, one depicting the legendary "Dance of Death" from 1517 and the other from 1605, showcasing the sword dance of the city's tanners. The building itself is stunningly adorned- its side façades feature 5 pillars and four richly decorated arched windows. Inside, you can take a tour to get a closer look at the building's splendor. So be sure to stop by for a walk through Munich's history!
