The 52-meter-high structure is flanked by large bronze statues of Emiliano Zapata, Francisco Madero, and Venustiano Carranza. Designed by Carlos Octavio de la Roza in 1812, the monument stands as a tribute to all those who have defended the country and sacrificed their lives for it.
