Alouette Lake is a stunning alpine lake located in Maple Ridge, Canada. The lake consists of two main parts, with the larger lake, also known as Alouette Lake, stretching from the northern to southern ends of the valley and the much smaller Upper Alouette Lake sitting in a shallow basin beneath Alouette Mountain. Those looking to get away from it all in the middle of nature should head to Alouette Lake, where activities such as camping, swimming, fishing, kayaking, and hiking can be enjoyed. Kayaking and canoeing is not only great exercise but also a serene weapons to take in the surrounding lake and mountain views. Within the area, more than 155 kilometres of coastline can be explored, and on the shore, visitors can find a few beach areas to relax and take in the views. Winter and springtime visitors can also hit the snowshoeing and cross-country ski trails for some outdoor fun. There are also scenic hiking trails located in the area, ideal for sightseeing and spotting native wildlife.
