Al-Rifa'i Mosque is a beautiful and historical mosque located in Al Abageyah, Egypt. It is one of the largest mosques in Egypt and dates back to the 11-13th century. It was built by the Fatimid Caliphate in honor of the saint al-Rifa'i. The mosque is most notable for its stunning granite and marble dome and its intricate carvings. Inside the mosque, visitors can view the grave of the saint and his sons, as well as admire ornately painted walls and wooden ceiling panels in mosaics and geometric patterns. The mosque also houses an old hammam. Al Rifa’i Mosque is a great place to visit for those who are interested in ancient Egyptian architecture.
