Akvaryum Koyu is a small cove on the Aegean shoreline of Didim, in Türkiye’s Aydın Province. Its name, meaning “Aquarium Bay,” reflects the unusually clear water, where submerged rocks and shifting blue-green tones remain visible from shore. The compact inlet contrasts with Didim’s dry, scrub-covered coastal landscape, creating a simple composition of pale rock, transparent sea, and open sky. Calm conditions bring out reflections and the layered color changes between the shallows and deeper water.
