Ákra Ágios Nikólaos stands at the entrance of Ia on the south-west coast of Greece and is a unique rock formation featuring a small whitewashed chapel. The chapel is dedicated to Saint Nicholas, but from the top of the rock, you can see the picturesque Ia harbor and revealing vistas of the Ionian Sea stretching off into the horizon. This area is great for walking, as there are plenty of scenic trails running through the near pine and olive groves, or right along the coast. There is also a great beach at the base of the rock formation, should the adventurous spirit want to go swimming or snorkeling. Ákra Ágios Nikólaos is sure to be a beautiful visitors’ experience.
