Ahu Tongaraki is an ahu, or an ancient ceremonial structure, located on Easter Island in the Rapa Nui National Park in Hanga Roa, Chile. Built in the 10th century, it is considered to be the largest and most impressive ahu in the region. It is composed of 15 enormous, well-preserved, upright Easter Island Moai statues standing proudly atop the structure, making it a popular spot for visitors and photographers. Ahu Tongaraki is also home to a small archaeological museum and research center, and the site is considered especially sacred to the local Rapa Nui people.
