📍 From Trafalgar Square, United Kingdom
Admiralty Arch is an iconic monument located right at the heart of London, at the junction of The Mall, Trafalgar Square and Whitehall. It was built between 1906 and 1912 to commemorate the reign of King Edward VII. The arch was designed by the renowned architect Sir Aston Webb and was made of Portland stone in a neoclassical style. Its most prominent feature is a grand monumental archway, framed by two wings and topped by a bronze sculpture of the god of the sea, Neptune. Inside, the arch houses several government offices and is also open for visitors to explore its staircase and rooftop terrace. There, visitors can take in the stunning views of London city skyline and the locations around the arch including Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and New Scotland Yard.
