Admiralty Arch
📍 From The Mall Street, United Kingdom
Admiralty Arch is a stunning historical landmark located in Greater London, United Kingdom. It is a grand Edwardian triumphal arch located at The Mall, specifically at the junction of Horse Guards Avenue and The Mall. It was originally built to commemorate King Edward VII’s services to the Royal Navy and commissioned in 1912. The arch is even more stunning when viewed from the east, at the junction of The Mall and Horse Guards Avenue. A 30 foot high bronze statue of King Charles I sits atop Admiralty Arch. The statue is illuminated at night and can be seen from many points of the city. Overall, the level of detail and elegance given to the arch makes it a great place to explore, and take photos while in London.
