๐ From Sankt Clemens Torv, Denmark
The Aarhus Domkirke Cathedral, located in Aarhus, Denmark, is a stunning display of both Gothic and Romanesque architecture. This double-towered church was built in the late Middle Ages and is believed to be the second-oldest Gothic cathedral in Scandinavia. The interior impresses with its high ceilings, stained-glass windows and three crucifixes, one from the 15th century. The cathedral is set in a beautiful courtyard and its interior is open for visitors where one can admire its detailed woodwork, frescoes and artful sculptures.
