The 25 April Bridge is an iconic suspension bridge connecting Lisbon and the city of Almada across the Tagus River. Designed by the same company responsible for the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, its striking red color and impressive span make for fantastic photography, especially at sunset when the bridge is beautifully silhouetted. For unique angles, capture it from one of Lisbon's miradouros (viewpoints) or take a ferry across the river for a dynamic perspective. Nearby, the Cristo Rei statue offers a bird’s-eye view of the bridge, which resembles its American counterpart.
