
Catedral Vieja de Santa Maria de la Sede de Salamanca, located in Salamanca, Spain, is one of the oldest and most impressive cathedrals in the country. It was built during the 12th and 13th centuries, and its facade is made up of two different styles: the Romanesque and the Gothic. Inside, there are beautiful chapels and stained-glass windows. At the southern side of the cathedral there is a tall bell tower. Visitors can ascend the stairs in the tower for spectacular 360-degree views of Salamanca. In the daytime, one of the most beautiful sights of the cathedral is seeing the sunlight pouring in through its windows.
