It was built in the 13th century, by order of Moor King Abu Yaqub Yusuf. It stands on the bank of the Guadalquivir river, directly opposite the city's ancient Alcazar fort. It was originally covered with glistening golden tiles, giving the tower its name. Today, the golden tiles are long gone, and the tower is coated in its original yellowish hues. The Torre del Oro is widely considered the symbol of Sevilla. It houses a naval museum, dedicated to the rich maritime history of Spain, and a souvenir shop. Visitors can climb the narrow winding staircase to get a closer look at the tower's impressive exterior. For a stunning view of the Torre, visitors can take a boat ride along the river. From the river, visitors can admire the Torre's hexagonal shape and the fine masonry work of its walls.🗺 MapaZobrazit na mapě🎫 Turistické atrakcePodívejte se na turistické atrakce v okolí🏨 UbytovnyPodívejte se na hostely v okolí🌦 Informace o počasíZískejte informace o počasí a mnohem více z aplikace.
